Hello,
My name is Marissa and I’m a graphic designer with a background that blends visual design, marketing, and game development.
I currently work on the marketing team as a Graphic Designer at The Nash Casino, where I create a wide range of visual materials supporting the casino’s brand, promotions, events, dining, and overall guest experience.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Game Design and Development from Full Sail University and continued expanding my creative skill set through Game Art coursework at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). My background in game development and art has given me a unique perspective as a designer, combining creativity and visual storytelling with an understanding of how design functions within a larger experience.
Professionally, my work ranges from branding, logos, promotional campaigns, signage, and marketing materials to menus, digital graphics, illustrations, and internal communications. Working in a fast-paced marketing environment has taught me how to adapt to different audiences and formats while maintaining a strong and consistent visual identity.
My approach to design goes beyond simply making something look good. I focus on the purpose behind each project and create visuals that are intentional, easy to understand, and memorable. I work extensively with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, but have experience with other Adobe products and software as well. Whether I’m working within a brand identity, illustrating a custom graphic, or creating artwork for a game, I’m always looking for ways to combine creativity, strategy, and storytelling to bring an idea to life.
To hire me directly for any projects you may have, you can email me to discuss details.
For a more secured payment option, I can be hired through Upwork as well.
